SKRIPSI PENGARUH FREKUENSI PEMBERIAN PUPUK NITROGEN DAN PHOSPHAT HASIL TANAMAN JAGUNG MANIS (Zea mays saccharata) var. Honey Jean

ABSTRACT
The research had been conducted from August 1988 until October at the Potrobangsan village, North Magelang District, Magelang City, the soil type is gegonol, pH 6 at an altitude of 376 m.
The purpose of the research is to know about the re- lationship between aplication frequensy of nitrogen and phosphate to the yield of sweet corn Honey Jean variety (P₁ Hybrid),
The design used was Randomized Complete Block Design (ROBD) arranged in factorial with 2 factors of nitrogen and phosphate each application used 3 levels and 3 repli- cations.
Fertilizer nitrogen (N) consisted of:
N0 = 0 day after planting, was given all dose nitro- gen
N₁ = 0 day after planting, 30 days after planting, each application was given a half dose of nitro- gen
Nâ‚‚ = 0 day after planting, 30 days after planting, 50 days after planting, each was given 1/3 dose of nitrogen
Fertilizer phosphate (P) consisted of :
P0 = 0 day after planting, was given all dose phos- phate
P1 = 0 day after planting, 30 days after planting, each application was
given a half dose of phos- phate
P2 = 0 day after planting, 30 days after planting, 50 days after
planting, each was given 1/3 dose of phosphate
Tretament of the frequency of nitrogen gave a high sig- nificant influence on number of cobs filled, but no signi- ficant in effect on the number of cobs, the lenght of filled cob, the diameter of filled cob and the weight of filled cob.
Treatment of the frequency of phosphate did not effected significant the number of cobs, the number of filled cobs, the lenght of filled cob, the diameter of filled cob and the weight of filled cob.
