SKRIPSI PENGARUH JARAK TANAM DAN BEBERAPA MACAM VARIETAS JAGUNG HIBRIDA TERHADAP HASILNYA (Zea mays L)

NURWAHIDI - Nama Orang;

ABSTRACT
The researh aim is find out the effect of plant spa cing and several corn (Zea mays L) hybrida varieties to their yields.
The researh had been conducted at Baledono Kedung pu tri, Purworejo, central of Java, from August 1992 until No- vember 1992, in the altitude 200 metres of the sea level.
The researh was arranged in Randomized Completely Block Design (RCBD) with two factors and three replications for each combination treatment.
The factors are as fallows:
Factor I : Plant spacing (J) with four levels.
J1 : 75 X 20 cm.
J2 : 75 x 25 cm.
J3 : 75 x 30 cm.
J4 : 75 x 35 cm. 4
Factor II: Varieties (V) with three levels.
V1 : C-1.
V2 : C-2.
V3 : CPI-1.
The result of the researh that:
1. The plant spacing treatment significantly influence to the dry weight of kernels per plot, the highest is 6078.33 g (10.06 qu/ha) by
J1V1 and weight of 1000 seed is 285 g by J1V3 and no significantly to the height of plant, leaves number per plant, length leaves per
plant, 1 number of ears per plant, length of ears per plant, dia- meter of ears per plant, dry weight of kernels per plant, fresh
weight of straws, dry weight of straws.
2. The variety treatment significantly influence to the height of plant. The highest is 8.67 m by V3 (CPI-1), the length of leaves is 283.3
cm by V3 (CPI-21), the largest diameter of ears treatment is 5.39 cm by J4V2 the highest fresh weight of straws is 743.66 g by J3V3
the highest dry weight of strawe is 239.81 g by J1V3.
3. No significantly interaction effect between plant spacing and varieties for all parameters observed.
