SKRIPSI PENGARUH BERAT BIBIT DAN DOSIS PUPUK ORGANIK TERHADAP HASIL BAWANG BOMBAY (Allium cepa, L.)

ABSTRACT
An experiment about the effect of seed weight and dose of organic fertilizer on yield of large yellow onion (Allium cepa, L.), had been done since February 28th until June 01, 2006 in Mangli Village, Kaliangkrik District, Magelang Regency. The altitude is 1300 m, soil kind is latosol and pH 5,5-6,5.
The method of experiment is factorial (3x4) with completely randomized block design with three replications. The first factor is weight of seedling, 20-25; 40-45 and 70-75 g. The second factor is dose of organic fertilizer 15, 25, 35 and 45 g/plant.
The analysis result shows that 70-75 g weight of seedling usage gives the highest plant and the most number of bulbs. The dose of Green Valley organic fertilizer until 45 g/plant shows the same responses on all parameters, but the differences of seedling weight at 45 g/plant Green Valley organic fertilizer dosage shows the increasing of fresh weight of bulbs. The uses seedling under 70 g weight gives large bulbs and fewer offspring bulbs, while, uses seedling between 70-75 g gives have a lot of number of offspring bulbs and the same of bulb weight averages.
