SKRIPSI PENGARUH KONSENTRASI DAN MACAM PUPUK ORGANIK CAIR TERHADAP HASIL JAGUNG (Zae maya L.) JENIS BABY CORN
ABSTRACT
The research about the effect of concentration and kind of liquid organic fertilizer to the yield of corn (Zea mays 1. as baby corn, had been carried out since February 25 until May 5, 1993 at Kedungsari village, Potrobangsan sub district, Magelang regency, Central Java Province with an altitude of 380 m above sea level and the kind of soil is latosol,
soil pH 6,5.
The research method which was used was the research me thod by factorial with bottom design it's Randomized Com- pletely Block Design (RCED) which consist of two factors, it's the kind of concentration (K) and the kind of liquid organic fertilizer (P) with four replications, Factor and levels are as follows:
Factor I: Fertilizer concentration (K) consists of 4 levels, they are:
K0: 0 co/1 water (as control)
K1: 1 cc/1 water
K2: 2 cc/1 water
K3: 3 cc/1 water
Factor II: The kind of liquid organic fertilezer (P) which consist of 2 levels they are:
P1: Margaflor liquid organic fertilizer
P2: HB-101 liquid organic fertilizer
The result of the research showed that kind of concen- tration gave a very significant effect on the weight of ears with skin per plant, weight of ear with skin per plot, weihgt of ears without skin per plant, weightof ears without skin per plot, length of ears without skin per plant, dia- meter of ears without skin per plant, fresh weight of straw and dry weight of straw, but not significant for the number of ears.
The treatment about kinds of liquid organic fertilizer gave a very significant effect on the weight of ears without skin per plant, weight of ears without skin per plot and length of ears without skin per plant but gave a significant effect on the weight of ears with skin per plant, weight of ears with skin ner plot, diameter of ears without skin per plant and not significant on the fresh weight of straw, dry weight of straw and number of ears.
No interaction between concentration and the kinds of liquid organic tertilizer for all parameters that had been
observed.
The result highest of ears without skin per plant the about 24,17 gram, even the lowest about 19,09 gram.
