SKRIPSI PENGARUH PENGOLAHAN TANAH TERHADAP HASIL TANAMAN KACANG HIJAU (Phaseolus radiatus L.) VARIETAS GELATIK

ABSTRACT
The experiment about "The effect of the tillage on the yield of small green pea (Phaseolus radiatus L.) Gela- tik variety" had been conducted in Banteran, Donoharjo, Ngaglik, Sleman, Yogyakarta from 2nd August 4th October 1991, on Regosol soil type and the altitude of 325 meters above sea level.
The aim of this experiment was studied the effect of tillage on the yield of small green pea.
The experiment was based on Randomized Complete Block Design (RCBD) with 5 treatmens and 5 times replica- tion. The treatmens were without tillage stubbles delayed (T1), without tillage stubbles cutted (T2), without ti- llage stubbles pulled (T3), once tillage (T4), twice til- lage. (T5).
Result of the experiment shawed that treatment of tillage did not influnce to plant height, number of pods per plant, fresh weight of pod per plant, average number of seeds per pod, dry weight of seeds per plant, weight of straw per plant, weight of 1000 seeds, fresh fresh and dry weight of weeds per plot. Treatment of tillage increased to the dry weight of straw per plant. The hig- hesd (50,40) grams was obtained by twice tillage (T5), and the lowest dry weight of straw per plant (30,22) grams was obtained by without tillage stubbles delayed (T1).
The highest yield of seeds (563,18 grams per plot or 1,877 tons per hectare) was obtained by treatment of twice tillage (T5) and the lowest (503,30 grams per plot or 1,677 tons per hectare) was obtained by treatment of without tillage stubbles delayed (T1).
