SKRIPSI KAJIAN CARA PENGIKATAN DAN PEMOTONGAN BATANG BAWAH TERHADAP KEBERHASILAN OKULASI SISTIM FORKET PADA TANAMAN DURIAN VARIETAS PETRUK (Durio zibethinus Murr)

ABSTRACT

The experiment to study the effect of binding and time to cut the root stocks to the result of budding by
Forket method of durians (Durio zibethins Murr) was Tanjung, Muntilan District, Magelang Regency, Central Java Province. The soil is regosol, the pH 5,75 with altitude of 358 metres sea level.
This 2 x 4 factorial experiment (binding method and tine to cut the root stocks) with Completely Randomized Design (CRD) consist of inequal replication.
The result showed that:
1. The closed buds binding seedling, increases percentage of
2. Cutting the root stocks with remaining 3 leaves enhances the emergence of buds, increases lenght of buds, increases leaves number diametres and enlarges stem diametres,
3. The closed buds binding on root stocks with 3 leaves increases percentage of seedling.
