SKRIPSI PENGARUH TRIACONTANOL TERHADAP PRODUKSI BEBERAPA VARIETAS KACANG TANAH (Arachis hypogaea L.)

ABSTRACT

The research is to know the yield capability of several peanuts which treated with triacontanol as plant regulator.
The research conducted from 28th Oktober 1988 until 13th February 1989 in Kedungsari, Magelang Utara, Magelang. The altitude 380 meters above the sea level, the soil is Latosol with pH 6,5.
The methode of research applied Split Plot Design (SPD) base on Randomized Complete Block Design (RCBD). Varieties as the main plot of three kind, such as: Gajah variety; Macan Variety; Rusa variety. Triacontanol concentration as sub plot four level, such as: 0 ppm; 0,05 ppm; 0,10 ppm; 0,15 ppm.
The result of the treated showed that the variety wasn't significant to height of plant, number of immature pods, number of unfilled pods, number of mature pods, fresh weight of mature pods weight of dry mature pods, weight of dry seeds. Gajah variety and Macan variety of true to fast age of flowering: 29 days, Rusa variety of true to improve number of gynophores, Gajah variety of true to improve weight of 100 seeds: 37,11 g.
Triacontanol concentration was not significant to age of flowering, number of mature pods, number of immature pods, fresh weight of mature pods, weight of dry mature pods, weight of dry seeds, weight of 100 seeds. But at concentration 0,10 ppm of true to take down at number of unfilled pods; the average 0,91 pods and true to improve at height of plant: average 65,57 cm. the
Among the treatment don't interaction to all parameters except number of unfilled pods, The best combination at VK (Rusa variety and concentration 0,10 ppm) with the number of unfilled pods is lowest: the average 0,87 pods and heighest of number of unfilled pods at VK, (Rusa variety and concen- 3 tration 0,05 ppm): the average 5,20 pods.
