SKRIPSI PENGARUH KETEBALAN NAUNGAN PLASTIK TRANSPARAN DAN DOSIS PUPUK ZA TERHADAP PERTUMBUHAN BIBIT TEMBAKAU KEDU (Nicotiana tabacum L.) VARIETAS GEWOL

ABSTRACT

This experiment is intended to know the effect plastic white semi transparant whith ammonium fertillizer dose on the growth of Kedu tobaco of sulphate seedling (Nicotianan tabacum L.) Gewol variety. The experiment was done at Blangkonan village distric of Mungkit, Magelang rengency central Java Province, on March 26 and finishad on 28 May 1989. On elevation of 350 meters above sea level. The type of soil is Latosol pH is 6.
This experiment was done by using Randomized Block Design (RBD) two factors with three replication wich con siit of:
First factor the various of thickness of white semi transparant: the plastic
K0 = Welit shading
K1 = White of semi transparant plastic shading 0,12 mm thickness
K2 = White of semi transparant plastic shading 0,15 mm thickness
The secont factor is the dose of ammonium sulphate fertillizer:
N0 = Without ammonium sulphate
N1 = The dose of its 35 g/M²
N2 2 The dose of is 70 g/M²
The obsevation was done on the height of seedling, number of leaves, length of the longest leaf, wide of the widest leaf, diameter of main stem, fresh weight of seedling, length of the longest root, number of and dry weight of seedling. roots,
The result shows that the treatment of thickness a plastic white semi transparant and dose of ammonium sulphat fertillizer higly significant on the growth. The heighest treatment result is K2N2: mean height of seedling 10.08 cm, mean number of leaves 7. mean diameter of stem 3.16 mm, mean length of root7,77 cm and mean number of roots 33.
The interaction simple effect K factor and N factor on the seedling height, the leaves number, the root length and the roots number. The heighest interaction is K2N2.
