SKRIPSI PENGARUH JUMLAH BUKU DAN SAAT PEMBERIAN PUPUK UREA TERHADAP PERTUMBUHAN PANILI (Vanilla planifolia Andrews)

ABSTRACT

The research that have title effect nodes number and fertillized time of urea on the growth vanilla cutting (Vanilla planifolia Andrews) has been done begin March 29 th until July 3 th 1991 at Stan village, Secang district, Magelang regency, central Jawa prevince. The soil type is latosol an altitude 380m above sea level with soil pH 5,5.
The object of the researth is to know the effect of nodes number and fertillized time of urea on the growth of vanilla cutting.
Researth be used is factorial, in Rendomed Complete Design (RCD), with three replication the treatments were number nodes (B) consist of : two nodes (B1), four nodes (B2) and six nodes (B3) and kind of time of urea consist of: without fertillized (S0), fertillized one week before planting (S1), fertillized together with planting and fertillized one week after planted (S3).
The result of research show that treatment nodes numbers are very significant different on shoot length, leaves number, length of main root, fresh weight of shoot, dry weight of shoot, significant on percentage of alive cutting and non significant on the all parameter and treatment are non interaksi on the all parameter.
Treatment combination with two nodes cutting and one week
giving urea fertillized (B₁S3) after had planted be able to give the best result for growing vanilla cutting and the worse (B3S0).
