SKRIPSI PENGARUH JUMLAH TANAMAN PER LUBANG DAN MACAM MULSA TERHADAP PRODUKSI KACANG TANAH ( Arachis hypogaea L. ) VARIETAS MACAN

ABSTRACT
The research entitled "The influence of the number of plants in each hole and the kind of mulch, upon the production of the peanut (Arachis hypogea L.) Macan Variety ", had been carried out at Sumberrejo village, Mertoyudan district, Magelang regency, The kind of soil is Regosol, with a pH 6,5 and with an altitude of 343 meters.
The research was used Randomized Completely Block Design with factorial method consist of two treatment factors with three replications.
The research indicated that the treatment of plants in each hole has a significant influence upon the height of plant, the number of branches, the number of filled pods, the weight of fresh whole plant, the weight of fresh filled pode, the weight of dry filled pods, the weight of dry whole plant, the weight of dry seeds, the weight of 100 dry seeds and the harvest index. But the treatment of plants in each hole has not a significant influence upor the number empty pods, the weight of fresh empty pods and the weight of dry empty pods,
The treatment to the kind of mulch has a significant influence to the height of plant, the number of branches and the number of filled pods. But the treatment of the kind of mulch has a significant influence upon the number of empty pods, the weight of fresh filled pods, the weight of fresh empty pods, the weight of dry filled pods, the weight of dry empty pods, the weight of fresh whole plant, the weight of dry whole plant, the weight of dry seeds, the weight of 100 dry seeds and the harvest index.
The cobination of treatment of three plants per hole and the chaff mulching gives a satisfying result.
