SKRIPSI PENGARUH TUMBUH DAN MACAM PERKEMBANGAN TURUS TERHADAP PERTUMBUHAN BIBIT TEH (Camile sinnentis,L.)

ABSTRACT

The research about the effect of growth regulator and kind of cutting's development on the growth of tea cuttings ( Camellia sinensis, L.), had been done at Sukalaksana Vill-ge, Sukanagara District, Cianjur Regency, West Java Propince on August until December 1991. The altitude is 1030 metres. The research used factorial experiment design, arranged with Randomized Completely Block Design (RCBD) which con-sisted of two factors, with three replications for each tre-
atment:

ractor 1. Growth regulator with three levels
Ro without growth regulator
RIBA treatment
R 2 = Rootone F treatment

Factor 2. Kind T of cutting's development with four levels
T0 012 cuttings with dorman bud
T1 = cuttings with at 2 cm length of shoot
T2 cuttings with at 4 cm length of shoot
T3 cuttings with at 6 cm length of shoot

The result of this research showed that growth regula- tor affected very significantly to number of leaves, number of roots, and affected significantly to length of roots, fresh weight of roots, dry weight of roots, but affected non significantly to percentage of alive cuttings, length of shoots, fresh weight of shoots, dry weight of shoots.

Kind of cutting's development affected very significantly to number of leaves, length of shoots, fresh weight of shoots, dry weight of roots, and affected significantly to percen- tage of alive cuttings, fresh weight of roots, but affected
non significantly to number of roots, length of roots, dry weight of shoots.

No interaction between growth regulator and kind of cutting's development, to all parametres.
The best tea liners was compound Rootone F growth regu- lator with cuttings to length of shoots four centimetres.
