SKRIPSI KAJIAN RADIASI DAN KONSENTRASI COLCHIICIINE TERHADAP INTENSITAS PENYAKIT TROTOL(Alternariia porri(Ell.)Cif.) DAN HASIL PADA TANAMAN BAWANG PUTIH(Alliiuum sativumm L.)VARIETAS LUMBU PUTIH)
ABSTRACT
An experimental cocerning the radiation intruction and colchicine concentration on the intensity of purple blotch (Alternaria porri (Ell.) Cif.) and yield of garlic (Allium sativum L.) Lumbu Putih variety was carried out in 24 Februari until 25 Mei 1994. This an experimental was car- ried out Sukarno-Hatta street, South Magelang District, Mage- lang City, Central Java. The kind of soil is Latosol, the soil pH 56,5 with an altitude 320 m above sea level, the radia- tion of bulb has been done at BATAN Jakarta.
The purpose of this research is to know the effect of physical of agent mutagenic in combination with chemical mu- tagenic agent to get get plants plants variability hopefully. can get one kind of plants which resist the purple blotch disease and have might yield better of garlics Lumbu Putin variety. The experiment with Randomized Complete Block Design
(RBCD), arranged Faktorini, with two faktors each contains with four levels and three replications which Duncan's Multi- ple Range Test at 5%,

Dosage of gamas rays radiation was significant effect to the intensity of purple blotch disease, and straw weight of dry and very significant effect to the height of plant, to the fresh weight of straw, to the fresh weight of bulb per plant and dry weight of bulb per plant while other treatment not sig- nificant effect to the number of corm per plant and the harvest
index.
The treatment with colchicine concentration gave a very significant effect to the height of plant and not significantly effect other treatments.
The interaction of the treatment between dosage of gamma roys radiation and colchicine concentration was very simifi- cant to the height of plant, to the fresh weight of straw and the fresh weight of bulb per plant. In the treatment of gamma light radiation dosage with the combination of colchicine concentration give low yield on ML, while for radiation dosage 6 Gy haves promising yield to de fense the disease with intensity of purple blotch 48,75%.
