SKRIPSI PENGARUH DOSIS PUPUK KCl PADA HASIL BEBERAPA VARIETAS KENTANG ( Solanum tuberosum L. ) DI DATARAN MEDIUM

ABSTRACT
The research with "The Effect of KCl Fertilizer Dose On The Yield Of Some Potato Varieties (Solanum tuberosum L.) On Medium Plain" had been conducted at Ngargosoko Village, Sub Distrect Srumbung, Kabupaten Magelang, Cen- tral Java at date 26 September until 20 December 1990.
The soil type was from Regosol, pH 6,5, elevation of 615 metres above sea level.
The research used a split plot design with 2 factors and 3. replications. The factors are as follows:
1. Varieties are the main plot, with 4 levels: V₁= Desi- ree variety, V₂ Granola variety, V3 DTO-33 variety and V Cipanas variety.
2. KCl fertilizer dose is sub plot, with 4 levels: Do = without KCl fertilizer (control), D₁= 144 kg/ha, D₂ 288 kg/ha, D3= 432 kg/ha.
The observation on sample plant, with is taken 5 plant (14,29%) from 35 plants each plot.
Observations are made to the plant height, tuber weight per plant, tuber weight per plot, percentage of small tuber per plot, percentage of medium tuber per plot, percentage of large tuber per plot. The analysis data is tested with multiple range Duncan's test 5%.
The result of research showed that:
1. Desiree variety gave the best result to the plant height = 1,1175 m, percentage of medium tuber per plot = 35,0825 %. DTO-33 variety gave the best result to the tuber weight per plant 0,7367 kg, tuber weight per plot 23,959 kg, percentage of large tuber per plot = 42,3042%. Cipanas variety gave the lowest yield.
2. The treatment without KCl application gave the best result to the tuber weight per plant= 0,517 kg, tuber weight per plot 17,2125 kg, percentage of large tuber per plot 25,8942 %.
3 . The heightest result was reached at combination between of DT0-33 variety and the dose of 0 kg/ha or without KCl. fertilizer application (VDO) = 34 ton/ha.
4. The interaction between variety and dose of KCl ferti- lizer happen at the weight of tuber per plot and per-
centage of large tuber per plot.
