SKRIPSI PENGARUH DOSIS PEMUPUKAN NITROGEN TERHADAP INTENSITAS SERANGAN PENYAKIT TROTOL ( Alternaria porri Ell. Cif. ) PADA TANAMAN BAWANG PUTIH ( Allium sativum L. ) VARIETAS LUMBU PUTIH

ABSTRACT
The experiment of the effect of nitrogen manure dose towards purple blotch disease (Alternaria porri Ell. Cif.) intensity on garlic plant (Allium sativum L.) was purpused to find out the effect of each nitrogen manure dose towards development of purple blotch disease.
The experiment was held in November 1992 until January 1993, at Purwodadi village, Purwodadi sub district, Purwore- jo regency. The altitute of 16 m above sea level, with the soil type is regosol.
The experiment method was Randomized Complete Block De- sign with five treatment and five replication. The kind of treatment as follow:
D1: Nitrogen manure dose treatment 92 kg/ha
(200 kg Urea/ha)
D2 Nitrogen manure dose treatment 138 kg/ha
(300 kg Urea/ha)
D3: Nitrogen manure dose treatment 184 kg/ha
(400 kg Urea/ha)
D4: Nitrogen manure dose treatment 230 kg/ha
(500 kg Urea/ha)
D5: Nitrogen manure dose treatment 276 kg/ha
(600 kg Urea/ha).
This experiment can be concluded as follow:
1. Utilization some nitrogen manure doses effected the in- tensity, infection rate and attack weight of purple blotch.
2. At the highest dose nitrogen manure caused the intensityand infection rate highest of purple blotch disease, and lowest dose on nitrogen manure caused the intensity and infection rate lowest.
3. The attack weight highest showed by treatment D4 & D5, and attack weight lowest showed by treatment D₁.
4. Utilization some nitrogen manure doses was not signifi- cant to the number leaves, the fresh weight of straw plant, the dry weight of straw plant and the intensity of fusari- um disease.
