SKRIPSI PENGARUH MACAM MEDIA DAN MACAM STEAK TERHADAP PERTUMBUHAN BIBIT MELATI ( Jasminum sambac D. )

ABSTRACT
The aim of this research is to study the effect of kind of media, kind of cuttings and interraction among the treatments to growth of jasmine (Jasminum (Jasminum samba D.)
The research was carried out from 28 December 1995 until 4 March 1996 at Tidar Krajan village, North Mage- lang district, Magelang regency Central Java with an altitude of 375 m above sea level.
The research uses a factorial experiment with ran- domized completely design (RCD) consist of two factors and three replications. The first factor is kinds of me- dia consist of four lev levels ; latosol, sand, latosol:sand (2:1), latosol:sand (1:1). The second factor is kinds of media consist of three level; they are top cutting, middle cutting, base cutting. The result of research show that kinds of media could made to length of shoot, emer- gence of shoots, fresh weight of shoot, dry weight of shoot, number of leaves, length of roots, number of roots. Middle cutting could made to length of shoot, emergence shoots, fresh weight of shoot, dry weight of shoot, num- of ber of leaves, length of roots, number of roots. Kinds of media combination and kinds of cuttings don't show the in- teraction among all parameters which have examined.
