SKRIPSI PENGARUH KEDALAMAN JURINGAN DAN DOSIS PUPUK PHOSPHAT TERHADAP PERTUMBUHAN TANAMAN TEBU (Saccharum officinarum L.) Var. BZ-132

ABSTRACT
The experiment of the effect of tillage's depth and dose phosphat fertilizer on growth of plant on sugar cane (Saccharum officinarum L.), that had been done on latosol soil, pH 6. Kedungsari village, north Magelang of Magelang district, was carried out from 20 December 1991 to 20 March 1992, on the elevation 365 meters above the sea level.
The experiment was done by using factorial method with Split Plot Design (SPD) which was arranged based on Randomized Completely Block Design (RCPD) concist of two faktors of treatment and three dose of treatment. The first factor was tillage's depth to main plot there wer 0, 30, 45 cm. The second factor was dose phosphat fertilizer to sub plot there 0, 150, 300 kg/ha, so be got nine combina-tions of treatment in each of three replications.
The analysis of variance show that the tillage's depth has very significant effect toward the number of tillers, diameter of stalk and have no significant effect to the width of leaf, length of leaf, number of leaves, length of stalk, height of plant, fresh weight and dry weight of plant per stool. The dose of phosphat fertilizer have no signifi- cant effect of all parameters experiment and no interaction bet ween the treatment which was done.
The higest result of the length of leaf, number of le- aves, number of tillers, length of stalk, height of plant, fresh and dry of weight of plant per stool came from the treatment of K, and width of leaf, diameter of stalk came from the treatment of K. The higest result for the length of leaf, width of leaf, number of leaves, number of tillers, diameter of stalk, length of stalk and height of piant got from the treatment of P1. the fresh and dry weight of plant per stool was got from the treatment of P2.
Treatment tillage's depth 30cm and dose phosphat fertilizer 150kg/ha result give the best.
