SKRIPSI PENGARUH DOSIS DAN FREKUENSI PEMBERIAN UREA TERHADAP HASIL TANAMAN BAWANG DAUN ( Allium fistulosum L. )
ABSTRACT
The research to study the effect of dose and frequen- cy of urea fertilizer application on onion yield, had been done in June until September 1996. The research was done in the plastic house at Paponan Village, Parakan District, Temanggung Regency with altitude 990 meters above sea level. The soil type is regosol with pH 6,5.
The research uses factorial experiment (3x3) with completely randomized design and eigth replications. The first factor is urea fertilizer dose, consisted of three levels: 0.3, 0.45 and 0.6 gram per stool. The second fac- tor is frequency of urea application, consisted of three levels: application once on 28 day, application twice on 28 and 42 day, application three times on 28, 42 and 56 day
after planting.
The result of the research shows that:
1. The increase of dose of urea 0.3 gram until 0.45 gram per stool can increase number of tillers, but at 0.6 gram per stool decreases number of tillers. The increase of dose of urea can increase linierly number of leaf, raw weigth of straw and dry weigth of straw but decreases weigth of edible leaf and harvesting index.
2. Urea with two times application, 28 and 42 days after planting gives the highest yield of number of tillers, number of leaf, raw weigth of straw, weigth of edible leaf, and dre weigth of straw, but does not influence harvesting index.
