ABSTRACT
The research is to study the effect of ratio and
kinds of Bokashi on media of plant on growth of tobaco seedling (Nicotiana tabacum, L). The research was carried out since November 16th 2001 to February 9th 2002 at Temanggung II Village, Temanggung Distric, Temanggung Regency. The kind of soil is latosol, pH 6,0 and the altitude is 583 meters
The research uses factorial experiment (3 X 3) in randomized completely design, consist of three replications. The first factor is kind of Bokasi: Agro, Alfinase and Mosleh. The second factor is composition of media ratio soil Bokashi (1: 1), (21) and (3: 1)
The result of the research shows: 1. Bokashi Mosleh gives highest yield on the height of seedling, the fresh weight of plant, the length of root, the fresh weight of root, Bokashi Alfinase and Mosleh gives higher yield on the dry weight of root of tobaco seedling, while kind of Bokashi have reguler effect on number of leaf and dry weight of
plant.
2. Using different kinds of Bokashi on different ratio of media has reguler effect on all observed parameters. Composition of soil Bokashi (1:1) gives highest yield on the height of seedling, the number of leaf, the fresh weight of plant, the dry weight of plant, the length of root, the fresh and dry weight of root of tobaco seedling.
3. Using different kinds of Bokashi on different ratio of media has regular effect on all observed parameters.
