SKRIPSI PENGARUH MEDIA DAN JUMLAH MATA TUNAS TERHADAP HASIL TANAMAN KENCUR ( Kaempferia galanga L. )

ABSTRACT
The experiment on "The Effect of Medium and Number of buds toward the result of Kaempferia galanga L". Had been carried out in Mertoyudan village, Mertoyudan district, Magelang regency, Central Java Province from 30 September 1992 until 13 Januari 1993. The soil type is latosol, pH 6,5 on altitude of 430 meters sea level.
The experiment methode use factorial design, with basic design a Randomized Complete Block Design (R.C.B.D) with two factors, that replated 3 times. was medium and number of buds

Factors I : Medium (M) consists of 3 levels:
M1: Soil medium (as control)
M2 Soil medium compost (1:1)
M3: Soil medium compost (2:1)
Factor 11 : Number of buds (T) consists of 3 levels:
T1: 2 buds
T2: 3 buds
T3: 4 buds
The result of the experiment showed that vas medium hightly significant effect to the number tillers, number of leaves, dry weight of weight straw, harvest index. straw, the of fresh The best yield of all parametres showed by the medium M3 (Soil medium ratio 2:10. compost
The number of buds showed highly significant effect to the length of plant, length of roots, dry weight straw, fresh weight of tuber and harvest buds showed the best yield on length of roots. the length of index. (13) 4 of plant and (T2) 3 buds showed the best yield the weight of straw and on fresh weight of tuber. (T1) 2 buds showed the best yield of the harvest index.
There was no interaction between medium and number of buds which was applied to all experiment parametres. medium factor
