SKRIPSI PENGARUH BERAT BENIH TERHADAP HASIL BEBERAPA ARITAS TOMAT (Lycopersicum esculentum, Mill)

ABSTRACT
A reseach of the influince of seed weight to yield of some varieties of tomato (Lycopersicum esculentum. Mill), had been carried out since May 18th 2000 until September 1st, 2000. The place of research is in the green house of Agriculture Faculty, Tidar University of Magelang. The kind of soil is latosol with pH 6,3 and the altitude is 380 metres.
The method of the research is factorial experiment (2 x 3) with completely randomized design, with four replications. The first factor is kinds of varieties : Mongal and Carioca. The second factor is seed weight : 0,1953; 0,2468 and 0,2984 gram per a hundred seeds.
The result of the research shows that the kind of variety give the real influence to the amount of the ripe fruit per plant, but it does not have influence in the heigh of plant, the age is in bloom, the weight of ripe fruit per plant, the volume of fruit and the number of branch. The seed weight per a hundred seed does not have influence to all parameter of observation.
