SKRIPSI PENGARUH PEMUPUKAN KALIUM DAN PUPUK KANDANG (KOTORAN KERBAU) TERHADAP PRODUKSI JAGUNG MANIS (Zea mays saccharata)
ABSTRACT
The obyective of this experiment is to know the influence of rate of potassium and manure (dung buffalo manure) on production of sweet corn (Zea mays saccharata) variety Honey Jean (F1 Hybrid). This experiment W88 carried out at Tidar Village, Magelang South District, Magelang city from 30 July until October 8, 1987. The soil type is latosol, pH 6, the altitude is 343 meters.
The design used was Randomized Complete Design (RCBD), arranged in factorial with 2 factors Block of potassium and manure, each treatment used 4 level and 3 replications
a. Potassium levels namely:
K0: O kg K2O/ha
K1: 50 kg K2O /ha
k2: 100 kg K2O/ha
K3: 150 kg K2O/ha
b. The manure
T0: 0kg manure/ha
T1: 10,000 kg manure/ha
T2: 20,000 kg manure/ha
T3: 30,000 kg manure/ha
The observation include height of plant, number of cobs per plant, cob lenght, fresh weight of cob, dis-meter of cob and weght of strew.
This experiment potassium height significantly influence on number of cobs, diameter of cob, lenght weight of cob and weight of straw. cob Manure aplication high significantly influence on height of plant, cob lenght and significant of weight of straw, but non significant on number cobs, weight of cob and diameter of cob. Interaction potassium and manure high significantly influence on height of plant and cob lenght.
