SKRIPSI PENGARUH KOMPOSISI MEDIA DAN KADAR IBA TERHADAP PERTUMBUHAN SETEK TEH (Camelia Sinensis L.)

ABSTRACT
An experiment on the Effect Medium Composition and IBA Concentration on the Tea Cutting Growth was carried from November 15, 1989 until February 15, 1990 in Tea Estate Ngarong, Ampel, Boyolali. The soil type is Andosol, pH 6,0 on an altitude of 1050 m above sea level and temperated 20-23°c.

The experiment method was factorial method with used Randomized Complete Block Design (RCBD) with consist of two factor. Total treatment combination were sixteen and they were replicated three time for each treatment.
The first factor: Medium composition with each levels
AO : Soil + Azumin compost 0 grami/0,1 m3
A1 : Soil + Azumin compost 200 gram 10,1 m²
A2 : Soil Azumin compost 400 gram /0,1 m²
A3: Soil Azumin compost 600 gram/0.1 m²
The second factor: Quick dipping in IBA concentration with each levels
BO : Control, dipping in distilled water
B1 : Concentration of IBA at 1500 ppm
B2: Concentration of IBA at 3000 ppm
B3 : Concentration of IBA at 4500 ppm
The result of experiment has shown that the medium composition had significant influence on the lenght of shoots, the number of leaves, the dry weight of roots, the fresh weight of roots. And non significant influence on the lenght of main roots, the number of main roots, the fresh weight of shoots, the dry weight of shoots and the percentage of lives cutting.

The IBA concentration factor gave significant influence on the lenght of shoots, the number of leaves, the number of main roots, the lenght of main roots, the fresh weight of shoots, the dry weight of shoots. And non significant influence on the fresh weight of roots, the dry weight of roots, percentage of lives cutting.
The interaction treatment combination non significant in this experiment and non influence for all parameters observed.
