SKRIPSI PENGARUH MACAM PUPUK KANDANG DAN WAKTU PENYIANGAN TERHADAP HASIL TANAMAN TOMAT (Solanum Lycopersicum L.)

ABSTRACT
Experiment about "The Effect of Kinds of Manure Weeding Time to the Yield of Tomato" had been and Conducted at Winongkidul, Gebang, Purworejo, Central Java, July until September 1989. The type of soil is pH 6 and altitude 32 m above sea level. from latosol,
This faktorial experiment used Randomised Completely Block Design (RCBD), consisted of 2x3 factors with 4 replications for each combination treatment
The treatment factors were
1. The kinds of manure (K), consisted of 2 levels
K1 hen dung
K2= buffalo dung
2. The weeding time (P), consisted of 3 levels Pn = without weeding
P1 = weeding on second and fourth week after planting
P2= weeding on third and fifth week after planting
The observation were done upon plant height, number of ripe fruits per plot, weight of ripe fruits per plant,weight of ripe fruits per plot, fresh weight of weeds and kind of weeds per plot.
The experiment result showed as follow:
1. The hen dung treatment increasing to the number of ripe fruits per plot, weight of ripe fruits per plant and weight of ripe fruits per plot. The buffalo dung treatment increasing to the fresh weight of weeds per plot.
2. The weeding time treatmnet significanly influence for the height of plant, number of ripe fruits per plot, weight of ripe fruits per plant, weight of ripe fruits per plot and fresh weight of weed per plot.
3. Interaction between kind of manure and weeding time significantly influence for the number of ripe fruits per plot.
4. The highest yield was reached by K₁P2 (hen dung and weeding on third and fifth week after plansing) treat- ment there is 2113,45 grams per plot or 0.212 ton per hectar, and the lowest tield is K2P0 (buffalo dung and weeding on second and fourth week after planting) treatment there is 1032.24 grams per plot or 0.103 ton per hectar.
5. The important weeds were Echinochloa crusgalli.Cyperus rotundus. Amaranthus SP Portulaca oleracea. Imperata cylindrica.
