SKRIPSI PENGARUH JARAK TANAM DAN KADAR VITTANA TERHADAP PRODUKSI KACANG HIJAU
ABSTRACT
The aim of the experiment was to study The Effect of Plant Spacing and Vittana Concentration on Mungbeans (Vigna radiata L.) Froduction. This study was conducted at Tidar Campur, South Magelang, Central Java from Agust until November 1987. The soil type is latosol, pH. 6,0 and locoted at on altitude of 343 m above see level.
A factorial method was applied, based on Randomized Complete Block Design (RCB)), concisting of 2 factors treat- ment with 3 replication for each treatment. a. Plant Spacing (J) concising of 3 levels ( J1 = 20cm X 20 cm, J2= 20 cm X 30 cm, J3= 20 cm X 40 cm), b. Vittana Concentration (V) concisting of 4 levels ( v0 = 0/1 or water sprays, v1= 1, 5g per 1 water, v2 = 2, 0g / 1 water, v3 = 2, 5g / 1 water). The fist spray was applied at 20 days after sowing and repeated 5 times with a weekly interval.
Observation was applied on five samples per plot. The results of the analyses showed that Plant Spacing did not affect significantly to height of plants, date of flowering and date of harvesting, but significantly affect the weight of fresh straw and dry straw, weight of fresh pods and dry pods, the percentage of empty pods, the weight of dry seeds, and the 100 seeds weight.
The treatment of Vittana Concentration significantly affect all parameters observed. The highest result was achieved by v_{2} and lowest by v_{0} . The Plant Spacing and Vittana Concentration did not interact each other to all observed components expept the porcentage of empty pods and the 100-seeds weight.
