SKRIPSI PENGARUH KONSENTRASI DAN LAMA PERENDAMAN BENIH DALAM LARUTAN COLHICINE (C22H25 O6 N) TERHADAP HASIL BAWANG PUTIH (Allium Sativum L.) VARIETAS GOMLOH DI DATARAN TINGGI

ABSTRACT
The research entitled "The Effect of Concentrations and Seedling Soaking Duration in Colchicine (C222506) Solution to the Yield of Garlic (Allium sativum L.) Gomloh Variety at Upland Plain", was conducted to know the effect of concentrations and seedling soeking duration in colchicine solation to the yild of garlic Gomloh variety at upland plein.
This research started from 22 Januari, 1992 until 21 May, 1992 and was carried out at Butuh Village District, Temanggung Village, Kaliangkrik District, Magelang Regency, Central Java Province. The altitude was 1700 metres above sea level withen average day time temperature of 20°C. The soil type was regosol and pH 6,3.
This research was carried out at free nature on a Randomized Completely Block Design (RODD) with 1 foctor which consist of 10 treatment with 3 block.Statistical analysis of colchicine treatment indie cates that plant height, stem diameter, number of leaves, fresh plant weight, fresh bulb weight, fresh straw weight dry plant weight, dry bulb weight, dry straw weight, bulb diameter and number of stools per bulb were very significent, but the percentage decrease of bulb weight and harvest index were not significant.
