SKRIPSI PENGARUH RUAS STEK PUPUK DAN DOSIS PUPUK KALIUM PENGARUHNYA TERHADAP HASIL UBI JALAR (IPOMEA BATATAS (L) LAMB

SUTARI - Nama Orang;

The objective of this experiment is to know the influ- ence of number of nodes of shoot cutting and dose of pota- ssium fertilizer on the yield of sweet potato. The experi- ment was carried out from Febuary 2, 1989 until Jul 2, 1989 1n Borobudur village the regency of Magelang, Central Java, on the Latosol soil, altitude 18 550 metros.

Metodology of this experiment is the Faktorial method based on Randomized Complately Block Design (RCBD), consist of 2 factors with 3 replications. The first faktor 18: 3 nodes, 6 nodes, and 9 nodes. The second factor 18: 0, 45,90, and 135 kg K₂0/ha. The obtained wore follows:

1. The number of nodes of shoot cutting aplication did not significant each other to all component of observation: lenght of plant, number of tubora por plant, woight of tuber per plant, fresh weightof straw, dry weight of straw, weight of tuber per plot, and harvest index.

2. The dosage potassium fertilizer aplication did not in- fluence significant on lenght of plant, number of tubers per plant, weight of tuber per plant, weight of tuber per plot. harvest index, but significantly influence on the improvement of the fresh weight of straw, and very significantly influenced on the improvomont of the dry weight of straw.

3. The interaction at number of shoot cuttings and dose of potassium fertilizer did not significant each oyher to all component of observation.

4. The highest yield is achive by the treatment RK, and the lowest yield is achive by the treatment RK
