SKRIPSI PENGARUH FREKUENSI PEMBERIAN AIR DAN PENYIANGAN TERHADAP HASIL BAWANG MERAH (Allium ascalonicum L.)

ABSTRACT
Having done a research with the tittle "The influence of the frequency of watering and of rooting on shallots plants (Allium ascalonicum. L). In latosol ground this research is done in Menowo, Kelurahan Kedungsari, Kecamatan Magelang Utara, Kotamadia Magelang. It is done from May to August 1990. With factorial methods and randomized complete design (RCD).
The aim of this research is to know the frequency of watering and of rooting to the shallot plants production. The combinations characteristics are, three factors the frequency of watering and four factors of rooting. The characteristic factor are: of
a. Factors of the frequency of watering
A1: Watering once in a day
A2: Watering once in two day
A3 Watering once in three day
b. Factors of rooting
Do Without rooting
D1: Rooting, just once after one week of planting. D₂: Rooting. planting. twice after one week and two weeks of
D2: Rooting, three times after one week, and three weeks of planting. two weeks
The observation is done to the height of plant, number of the leaves per clump, the number of bulbs per clump, the weight of fresh bulbs per clump, the weight of dry bulbs per clump, the weight of fresh straw per clump, and the weight of dry straw of clump.
From the result of the research, it can concloded follows : at
1. The frequency of watering influenced the number leaves clump per clump, and the weight of fresh straw but no influence of the height of plants, number of bulbs per clump, the weight of fresh of per the bulbs per clump, the weight. of dry per clump and the weight of dry straw per clump.
2. The rooting influenced to the number of leaves but по influence to the height of plants, the number of bulbs per clump, the weight of fresh bulbs per clump, number of bulbs per clump, the weight of fresh per clump and the weight dry straw per clump. the straw
3. From the result of the statistics analysis indicate that there was an interaction between the frequency of watering and of rooting the number of leaves per clump and the weight of fresh straw per clump.
