SKRIPSI PENGARUH MACAM MEDIA DAN NOMOR SATU TERHADAP PERTUMBUHAN TURUS PANILI (Vanilla planifolia andrews)

ABSTRACT
The reasearh about influence media and number of nodes on the growth vanilla cutting was carried out at Candi Village, Ngombol District, Purworejo City, Province Central of Java 14 February until 23 May 1990. The alti tude about 12 m above sea level and the soil type is latosol, the soil is pH 6,0.
The reasearch used Completely Randomised Design (RAL) it was arranged in factorial, which consisted of two treatment factor with three replications. First factor media (M) which consist of three levels:
M1: Sand
M2: Coconut husk and sand
M3: Coconut husk and mixture sand and gravel
Second factor, number of nodes (N) which consist of fourlevels:
N1: Fifth
N2: Seventh
N3: Ninth
N4: Eleventh
The results the expreriment analysis are:
1. Media non significantly effect on the persentage alive cutting, the length of shoot, the number leaves, the number of mainly roots, the length of mainly roots, the weight of shoot fresh and the dry weight of shoot.
2. The number of nodes influence very significantly on the length of shoot, the number of leaves, the fresh of shoot and the dry weight of shoot, but it affect non significantly on the number of mainly root and the length of mainly root.
3. Treatment combination media number of nodes very significantly effect on the number leaves, the dry weight of shoot and significantly effect on the shoot length, the fresh weiht of shoot. Non significantly of mainly root effect on the mainly of root and length
4. The media and number of nodes not significant.
