SKRIPSI PENGARUH MACAM VARIETAS DAN KONSENTRASI PUPUK DAUN SHELL FOLIAR TERHADAP HASIL TANAMAN JAGUNG (Zea mays L.) JENIS BABY CORN

ABSTRACT

The research about the effect concentration shell foliar fertilization to the yield some variety of corn (Zea mays L.) kind baby corn, had been carried out since March 17 until May 20, 1993 at Kedungsari village, Potrobangsan sub district, magelang regency, Central Java Province on the altitude 380 m above the sea level.
The method of experiment are Split Plot Design with base randomized Complete Block Design (RCBD), using two
treatments and three replications. As it factors the follows are :
1. Variety (V) as the main plot
V1 : CPI-1 hibrida variety
V2 : Arjuna variety
V3 : Kalingga Variety
2. Concentration of shell foliar as the sub plot
KO : Non concentration ( control)
Kl : 15 grams/10 1 water, concentration
K2 : 25 grams/10 1 water, concentration
K3 : 35 grams/10 1 water, concentration
The result of t he research showed some varety very significant for the number of spodix, diametre of spodix
with skin, weight of spodix with skin per plant, weight of spodix with skin per plot, weight of spodix without skin per plant, weight of spodix without skin per plot, fresh weight of straw and dry weight of straw, but not significant for diametre of spodix without skin end lenght of spodix
The treatment about concentration of shell foliar very significant for the diametre of spodix with skin, diametre of spodix without skin, weight of spodix with skin per plant , weight of spodix with skin per plot, weight of spodix without skin per plant and significant for weight of spodix without skin per plot, fresh weight of straw but not significant for number of spodix, lenght of spodix and dry weight of straw.
For the combination treatment of weight spodix with out skin per plant in the result analysis of this research showed the highest weight at combination CPI- 1 hibrid variety with 25 gram/10 1 water concentration of shell foliar (V1K2) as are 11,41 grams per plant.
