SKRIPSI PENGARUH SAAT INFESTASI DAN POPULASI TEKI (Cyperus rotundus L.) TERHADAP PERTUMBUHAN DAN HASIL KUBIS BUNGA (Brassica oleracea subvar cauliflora DC.)
ABSTRACT
Experiment about the effect of Investation Time and Population of Purple Nutsedge (Cyperus rotundus L.) growth and yield of cauliflora (Brassica pleracea on the subvar cauliflora DC.) with the supervision of Joko Purnomo; Didiek Suroto, and Andjarwani.
This experiment was conducted from February 16, 1991 until April 17, at Bumirejo Village, Mungkid in Regosol soil type on altitude of 3l3 meters above sea level.
This was an experiment used Completely Randomized Besign (CRD), it was arranged in factorial, which consisted of
two treatment factors with three replications.
The first factor was investation time of purple nutsedge (I)
of three levels :
I1 : 1 week after planting
I2 : 3 week after planting
I3 : . 5 week after planting
The second factor was population of purple nutsedge (P) of four levels;
P0 : 0 bulb per pot
P1 : 4 bulbs per pot
P2 : 8 bulbs per pot
P3 : 12 bulbs per pot
The results of experiment were as follows
1. Investation time of purple nutsedge et 1 week after planting resulted in the highest of purple nutsedge height,the
number of purple nutsedge bulbs, the last population of purple nutsedge, fresh and dry weight of purple nutsedge. Investation time of purple nutsedge at 5 weeks after planting resulted in the highest of plant height, the area of leaves, fresh and dry weight of straw and fresh weight of curd
2. Population of purple nutsedge by 0 bulb per pot resulted in the highest of plant height, the area of leaves, fresh and dry weight of straw and fresh weight of curd. Population of purple nutsedge by 12 bulbs per pot resulted in the highest of purple nutsedge height, the number of purple nutsedge bulbs, the last population of purple nutsedge,
fresh and dry weight of purple nutsedge.
3. Interaction between investation time and population of purple nutsedge effected on fresh weight of straw (the
lowest yield was 295.99 g), fresh weight of curd (the lowest yield was 165.00 g), purple nutsedge height (the highest yield was 73.85 cm), fresh weight of purple nutsedge (the highest yield was 91,85), dry weight of purple nutsedge (the highest yield was 50.17 g), the number of purple nutsedge (the highest yield was 99.48) and population of
purple nutsedge (the highest was 66.67), all of its were found by I1,P3, treatment.
4. The earlier the investation time and the bigger the population of purple nutsedge caused the bigger the pressure
on cauliflora plant growth and the reduction of its yield.
