SKRIPSI USAHA PENYIMPANAN BENIH KEDELAI (Glycine max L. Merril) Var. WILIS DENGAN PERLAKUAN BERBAGAI DAERAH BAHAN NABATI
ABSTRACT
The research about seed storage of soy bean (Glycine max L. Merrill) variety Wilis by several kinds of pesticidal plant treatments, this research was carried out at Potrobangsan Village, North Magelang Subdistrict, Magelang Regency, Central Java Province. The altitude about 375 m above sea level with the average temperature about 24°C. This research had been carried out since De- cember 28 th until April 9 th 1990.
The research method by Split Plot Design (SPD) was arranged in Complete Randomized Design (CRD), with the duration of storage as main plot and the several kinds of pesticidal plant treatments as sub plot. And they were replicated three for each treatments.
Main plot which consist of three levels: storage for one month (L₁), storage for two months (L2) and storage for three months (L3).
Sub plot which consist of six levels: non treatment (NO), corn-oil treatment with concentration 10 cc/500 seeds (N), Pachyrzhizus erosus meal treatment with concentration 15 gramme/500 seeds (N₂), Leucaena leucocepha- meal treatment with concentration 15 gramme/500 seeds (N₂), Pachyrzhizus erosus meal tretment with concentration 330 on 30 gramme/500 seeds (N), Leucaena leucocephala meal treatment with concentration 30 gramme/500 seeds (N5). The result of experiment analysis are:
1. The duration of storage was very significant on the germination length, the fresh weight of germination, the dry weight of germination, and the fresh weight of seed. But non significant on the germination capacity seed and the germination rate. The duration of storage for one month (L₁) was the heighest yield to reach on the germination length, the fresh weight of germination, the dry weight of germination and the fresh weight of seed. The duration of storage for two months (L₂) were the lowest yield to reach on the germination length and the fresh weight of germination. And the duration of storage for three months (L₂) were the lowest yield to reach on the dry weight of germination and the fresh weight of seed
2. The several kinds of pesticidal plant treatments were very significant on the germination length, the fresh weight of germination, the dry weight of germination, the fresh weight of seed and significant on the germination capacity seed and germination rate. Pachyrzhizus erosus meal and Leucaena leucocephala meal treatments with concentration 30 gramme/500 seeds (N4 and N5) were the heighest yield to reach on the germination capacity seed, the germination rate, the germination length, the fresh weight of germination and the dry weight of germination, but they were the lowest yield to reach on the fresh weight of seed. Leucaena leucocephala meal treatment with concentration 15 gramme/500 seeds (N3) was the heighest yield to reach only on the germination capacity seed, the germination rate and the germination length. Pachyrzhizus erosus meal treatment with concentration 15 gramme/500 seeds (N₂) was the heighest yield to reach only on the germination length. And on non treatment (No) was the lowest yield to reach for the germination capacity seed, the germination length, the fresh weight of germination and the dry weight of germination, but it was the heighest yield to reach for the fresh weight of seed. Pachrzhizus erosus meal treatment with concentration 15 gramme/500 seeds (N2) was the lowest yield to reach for the germination rate
3. Among the treatment had significant on the germination rate, the germination length, the dry weight of germination and the fresh weight of seed. But don't interaction on the germination capacity seed and the fresh weight of germination. The treatment combinations the duration of storage for one month and Leucaena leucocephala meal treatment with concentration 30 gramme/500 seeds (L,N5) were the heighest yield to reach on the dry weight of germination. And the treatment combinations the duration of storage for three months and non treatment (LN) were the lowest yield to reach on the dry weight germination, but the were the heighest yield to reach on the fresh weight of seed. And on the treatment combinations the duration of storage for three months and Pachyrzhizus erosus meal treatment with concentration 30 gramme/500 seeds (L3N) were the lowest yield to reach on the fresh weight of seed.
