SKRIPSI PENGARUH KADAR DAN SAAT PEMBERIAN TRIACONTANOL TERHADAP HASIL TANAMAN TOMAT (Lycopersicum esculentum Mill )
ABSTRACT
The research was conducted from May until August 1988 at the "Balai Benih Utama Kedu, Temanggung, Central Java, The type of soil was Letosol, pH 6,0, at an altitude of 650 meters.
The purpose of the research was to find out the influ- ence of combined treatments of different concentrations and moments of application of triacontanol to the tomato crop (Lycopersicum esculentum Mill).
The method used in this study was a factorial one, con- sisting of two treatment factors. The research used the ba- sic plant of the Randomized Complete Block Design (ROAD). There were twelve combined treatments each. With three repli- cations. The treatments factors combined given were:
The concentration factors of triacontanol (K) consisting of four levels:
K0 = 0 ppm triacontanol concentration
K1 = 1 ppm triacontanol concentration
K2 = K 2 ppm triacontanol concentration
K3 = ppm triacontanol concentration
The moment of application of triacontanol (S) consisting of three levels:
S1 = 21 days after transplanting
s2 = 21 days, and 42 days after transplanting
s3 = day, 42 days, and 63 days after transplanting
The result of research showed that triacontanol concen- tration significant influence to plant height, weight of un- ripe fruits, with percentage of fruitful flower. The moment of application of triacontanol showed a clear influence to flower number of each bunch, number of damage fruits, with weight of unripe fruits. The interaction between concentra- tion and moment of application of triacontanol had a very significant influence to the number and weight of damaged fruits.
