SKRIPSI PENGARUH MACAM MEDIA TERHADAP HASIL BEBERAPA VARIETAS BAYAM POTTONG (Amaranthu sp)

ABSTRACT

This research is aim to study The Effect of Kind of Media and Varieties on Vield of Prunned Spinach plant (Amaranthus sp). The research was done since February 8th 1999 to May 9th 1999, in Potrobangsan Village, Magelang North District, the Municipity Magelang, Central Java Province. Soil types is Latosol with pH 6,3 and the altitude is 370 meters.
The research uses factorial experiment (4x2) in randomized completely design, consisted of four replications The first factor is kind of media, the soil latosol, stable manure of sheef, stable manure of chicken and stable manure of bat. The second factor is varieties of Raja and Skop.
The treatment of media of soil latosol + stable manure of bat increases number of leaves, width of leaves and fresh weight edible parts.
Variety of Raja produces number of leaves and fresh we- ight of edible parts higher than variety of Skop, but width of leaves, diameter of stem, fresh weight and dry weight of straw is relatif same.
