SKRIPSI PENGARUH DOSIS TSP DAN KCL TERHADAP PERTUMBUHAN BIBIT TEBU(SACCHARUM OFFICINARUM L.)
A research concerning the effect of crop population on growth and yield of Okra had been done since October 3 until December 24, 1996 in Dawung, Mertoyudan, Magelang, Central Java. The kind of soil is latosol with pH 6,2 and the height 325 m above the surface of sea.
The research uses randomized complete block design (RCBD) with three replications. The treatments are crop population: 250.000; 225.000; 200.000; 175.000; 150.000; 125.000; 100.000; 75.000 and 50.000 plant/ha.
The result of the research shows that increasing or decreasing of population doesn't influence the height of plant, number of leaves, flowering, number of flower, number of fruit, the weight of fruit, water content, weight dry staw, but it does influence faster first harvest, few days earlier.
The highest yield is on twelveth harvest or 75 days after planting, at 100.000 plant/ha, with 9 fruit/plant and 118.08 gram/plant.
