The research about the effect of the frequency of preparing soil and KOL doses fertilizer on the yield of curl pepper (Capsicum annuum L.) was carried out from june until October, 1991, in Bringin village, Srumbung District, Magelang Regency, Central Java. The soil type Regosol, with altitude of 400 m and soil pH of 6-7.
The method of the research was factorial with Ren- domized Completly Block Design (RCBD) consisting of two factors, each combination was replicated three times.
The first factor: Frequency of preparing soil (F) con- sisting of three levels.
F1: Once preparing before planting
F2: Two time preparing before planting
F3: Three time preparing before planting)
The second factor: Dose KCL Fertilizer (K) consisting
at four levels.

K2: 100 kg/ha KCL
K3 150 kg/ha KCL
