This experiment had been conducted at Sawangan, Magelang, Central Java, from June 1987 until October 1987. The soil type was Latosol with an altitud of 425 metres.

Pot Piling up at 4 weeks of age
Py: Piling up at 6 weeks of age
The result of this research showed that 4 weeks of age ceedling gave the highest number of inflorescences and weight of fruite per plant, while the highest height of plant and diameter of stem was obtained by 5 and 3 weeks of age usedlinge. Piling up at 4 wooka wooke of age showed the beat growth and yield then without juling up (control) as well as piling up at 2 weeks of age and nt 6 weeks of age.
