SKRIPSI PENGARUH UMUR BIBIT TERHADAP PERTUMBUHAN DAN HASIL CABAI BESAR (Capsicum annuum) VARIETAS TAIWAN

SISWO WIDODO - Nama Orang;

ABSTRACT
The aim this experiment was to know effect of the age of
on the growth and result of chilli pepper (Capsicum annuum),
Taiwan variety, was conducted in Diwek, Sunggingsari village,
Bulu district, the regency of Temanggung, Central Java. The
soli type was regosol, the elevation is located on 900 metres
above sea level. The experiment was done from April 1, 1989
up to November 16, 1989.
The design used was Randomized Completely Blok Design
(RBCD) with seven treatment foor replication, as following
below:
U1 : The age of 20 days after sowing the seed.
U2 : The age of 25 days after sowing the seed.
U3 : The age of 30 days after sowing the seed.
U4 : The age of 35 days after sowing the seed.
U5 : The age of 40 days after sowing the seed.
U6 ; The age of 45 days after sowing the seed.
U7: The age of 50 days after sowing the seed.
From the experiment can be concluded:
1. The age of seedling gives significant effect and increases
the yield to:
a. The number of primary stem on each plant.
b. The number of secundary stem on each plant.
c. The number of productive stem on each plant.
d. The number of chilli pod on each stem per plant.
e. The length of chilli pod on each per plant.
f. The weight of each pod on each per plant.
g. The number of chilli pod each per plant.
2. The age of seedling very good was to transplanting
without of age seedling of 45 days after sowing the seed,
because this treatment shows the diferent efect signi-
ficant and increase for the whole parameters, but it gives
non significant observation to the flowering time, the
number of perfect flower per plant, the diametres of chilli
per plant, the number of flower per plant and the number of
chilli pod per plant.
