SKRIPSI PENGARUH DOSIS PUPUK P DAN ZEOLIT TERHADAP HASIL KEDELAI (Glycine max (L) Merr.)

ABSTRACT
The aim of this research was to study the effect of P
fertilizer and zeolite dose and also their interaction on
soybean yield (Glycine max (L) Merr.).
This research was carried out in Kedungsari village,
North Magelang, Central Java, from November 18 1992 until
February 8th 1993. The altitude of the land was about
380 m above sea level. The type of the soil was latosol
and its pH was 6.
The method was factorial that was arranged in Ran-
domized Completely Block Design (RCBD), consisting of two
factors and three replications. The first factor was P
fertilizer dose (P), consist of three levels without P
fertilizer (Po), 100 kg TSP/ha (P₁) and 200 kg TSP/ha
(P₂). The second one was zeolite dose (Z), consist of
three levels without zeolite (ZO), the zeolite dose was
1/3 of the total of fertilizers (2) and the zeolite dose
was 2/3 of the total of fertilizers (Z2).
The out come of this research indicated that P ferti-
lizer dose could increase the number of pods per plant,
the number of filled pods per plant, the dry straw weight
and seed weight per plant, and also decrease the number of
unfilled pods per plant. The zeolite dose could increase
the number of pods per plant, the number of filled pods
per plant, the dry straw weight and seed weight per plant,
and also decrease the unfilled pods per plant. The inter-
action beetwen the factors could increase the number of
pods per plant, the number of filled pods per plant and
seed weight per plant, and also decrease the filled pods
per plant.
The highest yield was got with the PZ, treatment
whith the production of 49,21 grams/plant and equal to 8,2
tons/ha.
