SKRIPSI PENGARUH LAMA PENYIMPANAN DAN JUMLAH RUAS DALAM TANAH TERHADAP PERTUMBUHAN TURUS PANILI (Vanilla planifolia Andrews)
ABSTRACT
The research about influence of storage duration and
number of internode under ground surface on the growth
vanilla cuting was carried out at Potrobangsan, Magelang,
Central of Java on until September 1990. The kind of soil is
regosol, with pH 6 7 on altitude of 376 meter above
sea level.
The research used Completely Randomized Design (CRD),
it was arranged in factorial, wich consisted of two treat-
ment factors with thee replications. The treatment factors
were:
a. The duration of storage, consist of five levels:
P0 = non storage
P1 = storage for four days
P2 = storage for eight days
P3 = storage for twelve days
P4 = storage for sixteen days
b. The number internode under ground surface, consist of
three levels:
R1 = one internode under ground surface
R2 = two internode underd ground surface
R3 = three internode underd ground surface
The results of the exsperiment analysis are:
1. The duration of storage not significant on the percentage
alive cuting, the length of shoot, the number of leaves,
the number of mainly roots, the length mainly roots, the
fresh weight of shoot and the dry weight of shoot.
2. The number of internode under ground surface was very
significant on the number of leaves, the number of mainly
roots, the length mainly roots, the fresh weight of shoot
and the dry weight of shoot, significant on the length
of shoot but not significant on the persentage alive
cutting.
3. The treatment duration of storage and the number of
internode under ground surface was very significant on
the number of family roots, the fresh weight of shoot and
the ary weight of shoot, significant on the number of
leaves and the length mainly roots but not significant
on the persentage alive cutting and the length of shoot.
4. The duration of storage and the number of internode under
ground surface not significant interaction.
