"SKRIPSI PENGARUH DOSIS PENGAPURAN PADA TANAH GAMBUT TERHADAP HASIL BEBERAPA VARITAS KEDELAI (Glycine max L. MERR)"

ABSTRACT

The research is aimed to study the effect of liming done on gambut soil on yeild soybeen (Glycine max L. MEAR).

The research had been conducted in the plastic tun- nel in Janbewangi Village, Secang District, Magelang Re- gency, Central Java Propince. The altitude is 380 metres above sea level.The research was from August 18th, 1997 ustil November 14th 1997.

The research used split plot design with randomized completly design, consist of two factors: variety (Lokon, Willis and Jayawijaya) as main plot, and liming dose (0) 1,5; 3: 4,5 and 6 ton/ha) as sub plot with three re-plications.

The result of the research shows that each variety differs on plant height, age of flowering, number of fer- tile nodes, number of filled pods per plant, number of unfilled pods per plant, dry weight of seed per plant, number of seeds per plant and dry weight of 100 seeds per plant. The higher liming dose caune higher plants, ear- lier flower initiation, more number of fertile nodes, more number of fertile pods, higher dry weight of seeds, higher dry weight of 100 seeds and lower number of unfil- Sed poos, but relatively the same number of needs per

plast. Liming dose of 6 ton/ha on Willis variety, indicata the highest seeds number with an average of 328 and the highest dry weight of 100 seeds on Leken variety with an average of 10,93 g.
