SKRIPSI UJI DAYA FATOGENITAS BACILLUS THURINGIENSIS DARI BERBAGAI BIAKAN TERHADAP POPULASI ULAT DAUN KUBIS (Plluttella Xylostella L.)

The aim of this research is to study rate of patoge- nicity of Bacillus thuringiensis in kind of cultivation media as controlling agent on Plutella xylostella worn on cabbage. The research was carried out forn June to ber 1998, at Ngablak Village, Ngablak District, Magelang Regency, Central Java, at altitude 1393 meters above ses level. on Andosol soil type with pH soil 6,3.
The research used randomized completly block design, with nine treatments and three replications, the treat- ments are Na media enriched with fish protein, with concentration 1 x 107, 1 x 10 and 1 x 109 bakteries/co. Na media enriched with soya meal, with concentration 1 x 107, 1 x 10 and 1 x 109 bacterien/co, Na media enriched with extract yeast, with concentration 1 x 107,1 x 10 and 1 x 10 bacteries/cc.
The result of this research shows that rate of pato- genicity of Bacillus thuringiensis on Plutella xylostella worm have ranges between 20,9185, 06 %, increasing of concentration or number of sporas B. thuringiensis can depress population and rate of attack so that cabbage dia- metre, circle and weight of orop Increase on treatment Na media enriched by 1 mg soya neal, with concentration 1 x 109 bacteries/cc. Bacteries cultivated on Na medin enriched with 1 ng soys neal, with concentration 1 x 109 baoteries/co are the most efective cultivate to control and depress P. xylostella sttack. Treatment with the high patogenity can depress rate of attack of P. xylostella so that cabbage product, diametre.circle and weight of crop is highest.
