SKRIPSI REALIZATION OF AFFECTIVE DOMAININ THE INSTRUCTIONS OF ENGLISH TEXTBOOK ENTITLED "BRIGHT AN ENGLISH"

Keywords: Affective Domain, Instructions, English Textbook.Prihatmojo and Badawi (2020) stated that cognitive intelligence must be balanced with affective intelligence during children's growth and development. The success of affective intelligence included morals and behavior appropriated to culture and religion. However, the goal was not ultimately received by the students. Many students had less behavior that impacted their environment since the teacher usually focused on the students and the material in the learning process. The writer chose Bright an English because this book was one of Merdeka Curriculum’s learning media and had been taught to the students during the postpandemic. Because the Indonesian Curriculum changed after the pandemic, this curriculum's design allowed the students to study happily, enjoyably, under no pressure, and show their skills. The objective from this research is to find out the kinds of Affective domain were realized in the instructions in English textbook entitled "Bright an English" and the dominant of Affective domain realized in the instructions in English textbook entitled "Bright an English". Therefore, this curriculum is designed to solve learning loss and prepare a brilliant new generation to face technological advances. Based on the elaboration from the findings and discussions, the research could be concluded that there are Five levels of Affective Domain from Revised Bloom’s Taxonomy in the Textbook entitled “Bright and English”, an English Textbook for the grade 7th Merdeka Curriculum. The levels were Receive (A1), with 11 instructions or 6%. Respond (A2) with 88 instructions or 51%, Value (A3) with 66 instructions or 38%, Organization (A4) with 24 instructions or 14%, and Characterization (A5) with 57 instructions or 33%. Then, the dominant affective domain realized in the instructions in the English textbook entitled "Bright an English" is Respond with 88 instructions, which is 51%. This result also could solve the student behavior that taught how to respond to something could increase students’ behavior.
