In SMA Tarakanita Magelang, the teaching of narrative text is employed through drama script writing. Therefore, a comprehensive manual on the steps in doing so is important. In response to the issue mentioned above, this development research is meant to answer three objectives. First, to identify the need to develop a project-based learning Flipbook for playwriting. Secondly, to test the validity of the project-based learning Flipbook for playwriting. Third, to measure its feasibility and practicality based on its implementation and evaluation. In regard to the development process, the ADDIE model by Branch (2010) was implemented in this study. The ADDIE model consisted of five development stages: Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. These five stages of ADDIE were carried out in this study to obtain comprehensive answers to the objectives respectively. In the analysis phase, this study claimed grade XI students of SMA Tarakanita Magelang needed digital learning material combined with projectbased learning as the demand of the current curriculum. These conclusions allowed the writer to design and develop the Flipbook for the playwriting manual. Additionally, the prototype of the product was proposed to four experts for its validation: two experts for material validation and two experts for instructional media validation. Also, the English teacher of grade XI SMA Tarakanita Magelang was asked for material and instructional media validations. The results from validation were: 98% very worthy for the material and 99% very worthy for the instructional media. For the feasibility of the prototype, classroom action research was implemented. By the end of Cycle 2, the result showed the observation rating reached 93% and the mean was 77 points. Besides, the practicality of the prototype was given 87,5% worthy to be utilized. Further, a more comprehensive development and testing of the product is wished in the near future.
