Keywords: Descriptive text, Teacher’s strategies, Language features.Descriptive text is one of the texts students must understand. It consists of structure, social function and language features. Using vocabulary and language features becomes the most difficult of the student. English teacher in MA Al Iman Margoyoso had difficulties to find appropriate strategies in explaining about language features because the student had lack of interested in learning English.The objective of this study was to carried out teacher’s teaching strategy in teaching language features for writing descriptive text at MA Al Iman Margoyoso academic year 2023/2024. There are two components the writer conducted, namely: 1) Teacher’s teaching strategies to teach language features for writing descriptive text and 2) how the teacher’s teach language features in writing descriptive text.This study is descriptive qualitative research. The data were taken from observation and interview. In collecting data, the writer employs observation and interview. The techniques for analyzing data were data reduction, displaying data and conclusion.
