Writing as one of the four language skills has always occurred as a part of the syllabus in teaching of English. But it is very difficult for SMP students to write procedure text. It is caused by several factors. One of them is the technique of teaching English writing that is used by teacher. Teacher uses lecture technique and blackboard media and it cannot solve the students' difficulties

The purpose of conducting this research is to prove that there is a significant difference in the teaching procedure text using Kim's Game method and the flashcard game.

To collect the data, the researcher used tests. They were held twice, as the pre test and post test. To analyze the data the researcher used comparative analysis The comparative formula of the data analysis is the t-test calculation

She found that the students who were taught using Kim's game method have better grades than those who were taught using flashcard game There is a significant difference between the two groups in writing procedure text. The mean of the scores of the students who were taught using Kim's game is 60 and those who were taught using flashcard is 53,4. Thus, the researcher's hypotheses prove true and can be accepted

Based on the analysis, the researcher concludes that there is significani difference in students English writing between those who are taught using Kim's game method and those who are taught using flashcard. The students whose teacher uses Kim's game method in teaching English have better grades than the students whose teacher using flashcard. Improving writing ability using Kim's Game is more effective than using flashcard.
