SKRIPSI PERANCANGAN OTOMATISASI PEMBERIAN NUTRISI PADA HIDROPONIK BERBASIS INTERNET OF THINGS (IoT) BERDASARKAN VOLUME LARUTAN NUTRISI
Fulfillment of plant nutrition is one of the important things in cultivating a hydroponic system. Part Per Million (ppm) is a unit for measuring the concentration of a liquid solution. Non-ideal ppm values can affect the growth rate of hydroponic plants to be suboptimal. In general, the process of providing nutrients can be done manually by farmers, however, for larger and more complex agricultural land, this method is less efficient. So a tool is needed that can control the provision of nutrients automatically. This study aims to create a prototype of a hydroponic nutrient control system based on the basic formula for providing nutrient solutions and an Internet of Things-based monitoring system, as well as to determine the effectiveness of the resulting system. The test results show that the system can provide nutrients automatically when the concentration of nutrients in the hydroponic media water shows a value less than the lower limit. The effectiveness of the hydroponic nutrient control system using the basic formula for providing nutrient solutions is 100.49% with an average error of 1.2%. The monitoring system on this device uses a web interface and I2C LCD which can display water conditions in hydroponic media, such as temperature, nutrient concentration, and volume of hydroponic media water.
