Potato (Solanum tuberosum L) is one of the horticultural commodities that has carbohydrate content that has the potential for food diversification. This study aims to assess the response of PGPR application and planting distance on vegetative growth of Granola L (G2) potato varieties. The research was conducted from May to July 2024 in Sukomakmur, Kajoran District, Magelang Regency with an altitude of 1534 m above sea level. The research method used a factorial experiment (4x4) arranged in a Completely Randomised Group Design consisting of two factors with 3 replications. The results of the study were analysed using variance analysis with α 1 % and 5 % data that differed significantly conducted further tests with orthogonal polynomial for PGPR concentration and LSD for planting spacing. The parameters in this study include the number of leaves, plant height, fresh weight of upper stems, dry weight of upper stems, fresh weight of roots, dry weight of roots, and relative growth rate. The higher concentration of PGPR up to 30 mL/L, the higher fresh weight of upper stems and dry weight of upper stems. The relative growth rate of potato plants aged 21 - 45 dap was 0.087 g/day. The application of 40 cm x 30 cm spacing gave the highest results in the fresh weight of top stems and was not significantly different from the 30 cm x 30 cm spacing. The application of PGPR concentration and the application of spacing responded equally to each parameter observed.
