SKRIPSI PERENCANAAN SISTEM PROTEKSI PENYALUR PETIR DI KAWASAN CANDI GEDONG SONGO
Based on BMKG data in 2022-2023 in the Semarang Regency area has a lightning strike density of 10-30 strikes / year. The Gedong Songo Temple area includes historical places and places of worship for Hindus and has the potential threat of lightning strikes. The planning of the lightning distribution protection system in the Gedong Songo temple area refers to the SNI 03-7015-2004 standard and the General Regulations for Lightning Distribution Installation (GRLDI). The type of protection system in this planning uses electrostatic with the protection angle method. The results of this study have a lightning protection radius of 155 m (at points G1, G3, and G4) and 160 m at point G2 using kurn r-150 brand air terminal in each lightning protection system unit. This area requires 4 units of lightning distributor protection system to protect the safety of visitors and existing buildings. Measurement of grounding resistance in this study uses a three-point method using an earth tester measuring instrument. Based on SNI 03-7015-2004, the grounding resistance in the lightning distributor protection system is < 5 Ω. In this measurement using one rod electrode with a diameter of 5/8 inch with a length of 1.5 meters. The measurement results of each measurement point are still large, so make grounding improvements using the soil treatment method by adding longan wood charcoal to the trench. After improving grounding using longan wood charcoal, it has a significant effect with a range of 31.35-38.24%. The electrode rods needed in this study are 180 rods. The budget plan for this research required is Rp. 719.358.231,17 with VAT of 11% to be Rp. 98.487.636,60.
