SKRIPSI EFISIENSI PANEL SURYA DENGAN PENGGUNAAN REFLEKTOR ADAPTIF UNTUK MENGURANGI EFEK PARTIAL SHADING
Increasing energy consumption is driving the development of renewable energy sources,
including solar panels. However, the efficiency of solar panels often decreases due to the partial
shadow effect, which reduces the output power. This research aims to develop an Arduino-based
adaptive reflector and LDR sensor to improve the efficiency of solar panels. The research method
involves designing a reflector that can dynamically adjust the position based on light intensity, as
well as testing on a 10 Wp polycrystalline solar panel. Data was obtained through power, voltage,
and current measurements at 25%, 50%, and 75% partial shadow conditions, both with and
without adaptive reflectors. The results showed that the use of adaptive reflectors significantly
increased the power of solar panels, with a efficiency 1% to 2% increase compared to no
reflectors. This system has proven to be effective in reducing the impact of partial shadows, so that
it can improve the efficiency of renewable energy. Adaptive reflectors offer a practical and
innovative solution for optimizing the performance of solar panels in a variety of environmental
conditions.
