SKRIPSI EVALUASI DAN PERENCANAAN KEBUTUHAN PARKIR DI PASAR BRINGIN KABUPATEN SEMARANG

Bringin Market in Semarang Regency, located on Salatiga - Kedungjati
Road, is one of the most busy roads for motorists. Traffic problems such as
congestion are a common problem caused by parking vehicles on the shoulder of
the road. Therefore, this study aims to evaluate the parking characteristics and
planning of parking demand in Market.
This study requires primary data in the form of parking volume, parking
duration and parking inventory. The secondary data used includes parking area,
market plan and data on the number of market traders in the last 5 years. Parking
demand for the next 5 years can be predicted using the linear regression method.
In the planning of parking requirements in accordance with the Technical
Guidelines for the Implementation of Parking 1996 (Indonesia) and Guidelines for
the Design of Vehicle Spaces 2018 (Malaysia).
The results showed a four-wheeled vehicle parking index of 1% and two
wheeled vehicles 1.4%, so it can be concluded that parking capacity is smaller than
parking usage. The parking demand in 2024 is 172 parking plots for two-wheeled
vehicles and 23 parking plots for four-wheeled vehicles. While the parking capacity
for two-wheeled vehicles is 74 parking lots and for two-wheeled vehicles 10 parking
lots. This shows the need for an additional 98 parking lots for two-wheeled vehicles.
As for the parking of four-wheeled vehicles requires the addition of 13 parking lots.
Prediction of parking needs for the next 5 years using linear regression analysis
obtained the model Y = 22.1x + 326.1 with (R2) = 0.9887, the value of parking
needs in 2029 is 214 parking spaces for two-wheeled vehicles and 31 parking
spaces for four-wheeled vehicles.
